Here are some tips

Vastu Shastra is believed to harmonize the natural elements in the environment to enhance the quality of life. Given the challenges of maintaining relationships in modern times, families wonder whether Vastu can improve the quality of relationships and enhance love. Vastu expert, Acharya Manoj Shrivastava explains that the energy flow in a space can affect the emotions and behaviours of its inhabitants. Therefore, making simple home adjustments can maximize positive energy flow and bring love and harmony into one's life. Here are some Vastu tips by him that can help you maximise your love life.

2/7

Bedroom location

The bedroom is the most important room for a couple as it is where they spend most of their time together. As per Vastu, the master bedroom should be in the southwest corner of the house. This is believed to promote stability and grounding in the relationship. The bed should be placed with the head towards the south or east, and not directly facing the door or a mirror. Vastu Acharya Manoj Shrivastava says that if a bedroom is not possible in the southwest, you can have it in the South, East or West.

3/7

Colours and decor

The bedroom's colours and decor can significantly impact the mood and energy of the space. Vastu recommends using soothing colours such as pastel shades of pink, peach, or mustard yellow in the bedroom. Avoid using bright or bold colours that can create a sense of restlessness or aggression. Decorate the room with fresh flowers and scented candles to create a romantic ambiance.

4/7

Clutter-free space

A cluttered and disorganised space can lead to stress and tension in a relationship. Vastu recommends keeping the bedroom clean and clutter-free to promote a sense of calm and harmony. Get rid of any unwanted items or furniture and create a serene environment that promotes relaxation and intimacy. Avoid the use of box beds full of unused clothes and furnishings.

5/7

Mirrors

Mirrors are believed to reflect and amplify energy in a space. Vastu recommends avoiding placing mirrors in the bedroom as they can create a sense of restlessness and disrupt the harmony in the relationship. If you must have a mirror in the bedroom, make sure it is placed in a way that it does not reflect the bed.

6/7

Lighting

Proper lighting can enhance the energy flow in a space and create a positive atmosphere. Vastu recommends using soft, diffused lighting in the bedroom, and avoiding bright or harsh lighting that can create a sense of discomfort. Use dimmer switches to adjust the lighting according to your mood and preference.

7/7

Relationship corner

According to Vastu, the southwest corner of the house is the relationship corner, and it is associated with love, marriage, and partnerships. Enhance this corner of your home by placing a pair of swans or mandarin ducks, which are considered symbols of love and commitment. You can also place a photograph of both of you together or a statue of a couple in this corner to promote harmony and togetherness in your relationship.
