More recently, hours after the photo-editing controversy, Catherine, who is popularly known by her maiden name Kate Middleton, was seen heading out with her husband-- however, she appeared to be unhappy. So much so that sources have even called her "looking like sad Princess Diana". Some rumours have even hinted at trouble in their marriage because of Lady Sarah Rose Hanbury. Lady Sarah Rose Hanbury is the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, and she is said to be a part of Kate and William's inner social-circle. Born on March 15, 1984, Lady Sarah Rose Hanbury is a former model. She belongs to a family who has deep-rooted history with the British Royal family. Sarah Rose is married David Cholmondeley, who is the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, in 2009 -- this significantly elevated her social status. Sarah and her husband moved to Houghton Hall, a huge estate where they live with their family, which made them neighbours to Kate and William.

For those who don't know, marquess is a hereditary rank which is followed in the British nobility, and it is just behind the duke. It is noted that when Queen Elisabeth II was alive, Kate and William were known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge-- and thus just a step ahead of the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley in the pecking order. It was after Queen Elisabeth II's death and when Prince William's father was made the King, that Kate and William were promoted to their new designation of Prince and Princess of Wales.

The reason: In 2019, there were rumours of Prince William and Sarah Rose Hanbury being involved, and now with Kate's absence from the public eye-- these rumours have resurfaced.
