In Hindu culture, a lot of importance and faith is put on mantras, chanting, and japa. It is said that even in the toughest of situations, mantras do not just help people, but also heal them from within. Chanting these mantras regularly helps devotees get the blessings of the Gods, maintain and attract abundance in life, and stay protected from harmful spirits.

​Lord Ganesha

Lord Ganesha, the one who has the head of an elephant as his head, is respected and worshipped by Hindus all over the world. The son of Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha is said to be the remover of all hurdles and obstacles and gives the blessings of prosperity. A mantra for Lord Ganesha is - ‘Vakratunda Mahakaya Suryakoti Samaprabha, Nirvighnam Kurume Deva Sarva-Karyeshu Sarvada’.
This mantra is a prayer to ask Ganesh ji which is chanted before starting something new and asking him to make sure that everything goes smoothly in the new venture, be it education, a new home, a new business, or anything that requires protection and his blessings.

​Lord Shiva

The destroyer and transformer of the Universe, Lord Shiva, is a deity that people respect and pray to with utmost devotion and seriousness. And, one of the most powerful Shiva mantras is the ‘Mahamrityunjaya Mantra’. The mantra says - ‘Om Tryambakam Yajamahe, Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam, Urvarukamiva Bandhanan, Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat’. This mantra is like a prayer to ask Shiv ji to remove all the fears of life and death. It is like a request for protection against illness, fear, and untimely death. This mantra is chanted regularly by people who wish to rise above the fear of mortality and wish to live life without fear and in peace.

​Lord Vishnu

Lord Vishnu is said to be the preserver and protector of the Universe and has many mantras dedicated to him. But, the most simple and powerful mantra of all is - ‘Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya’. It simply means, ‘I bow to Lord Vasudeva’ and is like surrendering a part of you to Lord Vishnu and his devotion. This mantra helps devotees have his grace and blessings, which in turn makes them feel a sense of peace, stability, and protection in life.

​Maa Saraswati

Maa Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge, creativity, and wisdom, is important for both children and adults alike. For Maa Sarawati, the mantra is simple and precise, and one that can be easily learned by kids and old people. The mantra says - ‘Om Mahasaraswate Namaha’ and means - ‘I bow to the great Mata Saraswati’. By chanting this mantra, devotees can invoke the blessings of Maa Saraswati for intellectual clarity, artistic creativity, and success in educational paths.

​Maa Lakshmi

Goddess Lakshmi, the one who gives the blessings of wealth, fortune, and prosperity, has many different mantras. But, one of the most powerful Laksmi mantras is ‘Om Hreem Shreem Lakshmibhyo Namah.’
This powerful chant simply translates to ‘I bow to Maa Lakshmi, the one who is the giver of wealth and auspiciousness’. This simple Maa Lakshmi chant is believed to attract abundance and financial stability into one's life. Chanting this mantra helps to remove financial hurdles and issues and gives material and spiritual abundance in life.
