Rituparna Sengupta’s mother was stuck at a private hospital in Dhakuria for two days post release owing to what the actress terms as “harrassment by the health insurance company”. Speaking to us on Thursday afternoon, Rituparna said, “The hospital had released ma two days ago, but we haven’t been able to take her home because the health insurance company is not cooperating with us at all. They charge a high premium, but now, when we are making a claim, they are asking for irrelevant papers and withholding the payment. I can easily pay the bill and take ma home, but I won’t. I want to see to what extent this insurance company can go with their nuisance,” Rituparna said.
