You know what’s one of the good things about changing seasons and weather? Changing fashion. Spring means it’s time to move past all the heavy-duty winter clothes and transition towards lightwear, bright outfits. Spring means that summer is almost here and fashion needs are changing! So, what fabric should you lean towards, and what colours should you opt for? Here’s a mini guide.
Fabrics:
It’s time you take all the breathable, natural fibres out of your wardrobe. Think cottons, linen, chambray, and jute. These will help stay cool and avoid skin irritations caused by sweating and heat
Colours:
While white never goes out of style, you can also opt for bring colours that are synonymous with the season. Peaches, pinks, yellows, spring greens and powder blues aren’t just soothing to the eyes but are easy on the body. Light colours absorb less heat and keeps your body cool
Styles:
Bold stripes, sheer layering, white dresses, wide-legged trousers, bow accents, polo shirts as dresses or oversized tees, are in trend for Spring/Summer 2024. Wear an oversized polo shirt as a dress with a pair of comfortable sandals, white cotton maxi with tie-up sandals, or a wide-legged pant with a linen crop top will help you look chic
Makeup:
Opt for a lighweight foundation, don’t over do your eyes and go for a peachy, pink or brown nude shade for the lips. Graphic eyeliner, or subtle shimmer for a night out would be ideal this season
