Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Temple

As per PTI reports, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) received a whooping INR 918 crore in donations from November 2024 to October 2025. Some INR 579.38 crore was received from online donations and INR 339.20 crore came through offline channels. This huge donation shows the temple's status as one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India.
"Of the total donations received, ₹579.38 crore came through online and ₹339.20 crore through offline channels," Naidu told PTI.
What adds to the wealth of the temple is the practice offering hair, which is a ritual believed to signify humility and surrender. These hair offerings are later auctioned, which augment the temple's revenue. In addition, the 'Laddu Prasadam,' bhog also adds to the temple finances. There are also gold deposits, FDs, and real estate holdings of the temple trust.

Back in 20200, the TTD released an official white paper mentioning that the temple trust holds 10.3 tonnes of gold deposits and fixed deposits exceeding INR 5,300 crore in nationalised banks. Official statements further reveal that TTD also maintains cash deposits amounting to nearly INR 15,938 crore, underscoring its status as one of the wealthiest temple administrations in India.
