Meizu M3 Max phablet with metal body, fingerprint sensor launched in China
NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker
The device flaunts a metal unibody design and has a fingerprint sensor embedded into its Home button. Meizu claims that the sensor can unlock the phone in just 2 seconds and users can also use it for secured payments via Alipay and WeChat services.

The phablet runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system topped with the company’s Flyme UI and comes with hybrid dual-sim functionality. It also sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. Also, there’s a 4,100mAh battery with support for mCharge fast charging, which means that the battery can be charged up to 45% in just 30 minutes.
Last month, Meizu launched its M3E smartphone at an event in China. Meizu M3E has a metal unibody design and comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
M3E has a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080x1920 pixel resolution. Powering the device is a 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
The smartphone has a hybrid dual-sim slot and runs Linux-based YunOS. It also boasts a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing snapper for selfies.
