Amazon's most expensive Kindle, Oasis, launches in India
Amazon has launched its latest Kindle e-reader Oasis in India. The all-new Kindle, priced at Rs 23,999 for the Wi-Fi model and Rs 27,999 for the Wi-Fi-plus 3G model, is available on the company's India website.
Kindle Oasis weighs 130gram and is 3.4mm at its thinnest point. It has a 6-inch 300 dpi display with 4GB of storage.
"It's the most advanced Kindle we've ever built -- thin and ultra lightweight, it gets out of the way so you can lose yourself in the author's world," Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos said in a statement.
