LeEco Super TV's India launch date revealed
NEW DELHI: Recently Toi Tech reported that LeEco will launch its Android Marshmallow-based 4K TV sets in India next week. Now, the Chinese tech firm has sent media invites for an event scheduled for August 4 in New Delhi. There is no word as to which models will be launched in India.
In April, the company showcased two models of the TV named 4 X50 and 4 X50 Pro. The Pro version of the 4 X50 is the first TV to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset. It offers 3GB RAM. On the other hand, the 4 X50 is a 50-inch 4K TV, it is powered by MStar 6A938 coupled with 3GB RAM.
Both X50 and X50 Pro flaunt metallic frame design and support HDR videos. In terms of the audio experience, both the devices come with Harman Kardon speakers and run on Android Marshmallow topped with the eUI of the company.
The TVs come with latest Springer operating system. The OS enables better management of various desktops as per the requirements of the users. Both the televisions support voice-recognition technology.
The TV sets are also likely to come with Ecological UI system, which allows users to stream up to 9 channels at the same time. Viewers can also watch 9 different sports events at the same time with 9 different camera angles.
The China price of the LeEco X50 was CNY 2499 for 16GB variant and CNY 2699 for 32GB version. The X50 Pro price starts at CNY 2,999.
LeEco TVs are likely to give serious competition to domestic players such as Micromax, Intex, Videocon and others.
