Dipika Pallikal, the Indian squash icon, has long been the most influential face in Indian sport. A Chennai-based athlete, Pallikal is the first Indian woman to break into the top 10 of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) world rankings in 2012. She also earned the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2012 and the Padma Shri in 2014.

Away from the squash court, the sportsperson shares a luxurious home in Chennai with husband and Indian cricketer Dinesh Karthik. In 2021, she embraced motherhood. The couple have twin boys named Kabir Pallikal Karthik and Zian Pallikal Karthik and in March 2026, she gave birth to their daughter Raaha Pallikal Karthik. ​

One of the best parts of the house is that Dipika and Dinesh personally participated in designing the interiors. As seen on Asian Paints’ ‘Where The Heart Is’, Karthik described a home as something that “keeps growing.”

The interiors are a perfect combination of elegance and comfort done in neutral colours and earthy textures. The large windows allow ample sunlight but it’s the living area that serves as the emotional heart of the bungalow. It features plush seating arrangements, warm lighting, curated artworks, and subtle décor.
