Mumbai (Maharashtra)

Mumbai remains the undisputed real estate capital! It continues to be the costliest city in India for real estate. The main reason behind it is the limited land availability, increasing demand, and concentration of wealth. As per property market data, prices in Mumbai’s premium regions like South Mumbai, Bandra, Juhu and Worli can range anywhere ₹59,275 per sq. ft, Cuffe Parade ₹55,960 per sq. ft, Tardeo ₹47,223 per sq. ft, and Bandra West ₹44,509 per sq. ft.

The Delhi NCR region includes New Delhi, Gurugram (Gurgaon), and Noida. It is on the number two spot on the list. Areas such as Lutyens’ Delhi and South Delhi are known for their premium properties, while Gurugram and Noida have grown as high-end residential and commercial regions. According to the MagicBricks list, top localities in Delhi include Jor Bagh (₹55,660 per sq. ft) and Golf Links (₹23,735 per sq. ft), among others.

Kolkata is noted for its rich cultural heritage. Its real estate industry is growing rapidly because of increasing housing demand. As the third costliest city in India, Kolkata offers many housing alternatives. Premium real estate can be found in regions like Park Street (₹27,758 per sq. ft), Bhawanipur (₹10,461 per sq. ft) and Tollygunge, among others.
