Ekadashi in October 2024: SignificanceEkadashi has a great religious religious and spiritual significance among Hindus. This day is considered as one of the most sacred day to please Lord Vishnu as he is the preserver of the universe and worshipping Lord Vishnu brings peace and calmness in life. Ekadashi occurs twice a month during Shukla Paksha and Krishna Paksha. It is believed that devotees who worship the Lord Vishnu, get blessed with all the worldly pleasures and happiness. It is also believed that particularly Ekadashi fast observes get relieved from sins and after death they directly go to Vaikuntha Dham.
Ekadashi in October 2024: Puja Rituals1. Wake up early in the morning and take holy bath.
2. Clean the house and pooja room.
3. Take a wooden plank and place an idol of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Laxmi (Shree Yantra).
4. Light a diya in front of the idol and offer panchamrit and tulsi patra.
5. Some people give a bath the idol of Lord Vishnu, Lord Krishna and Laddoo Gopal Ji.
6. Adorn them with flowers and garland.
7. Chant mantras to invoke the idol and recite Vishnu Sahasranama.
8. You can have sattvik food recommened for vrat only once.
9. On the next day, during parana time, devotes can break their fast after worshipping Bhagwan Vishnu.
