Lalita Panchami 2022: SignificanceAccording to the legend, it is believed that Goddess Lalita is the incarnation of Goddess Durga. She was born to kill the demon named 'Bhanda' who appeared from the ashes of Kamdev and Goddess Lalita killed the demon. Lalita Panchami is also known as 'Upang Lalita'.
People observe fast to please Goddess Lalita. It is also believe that people, who worship Goddess Lalita on this particular day, get protection from evil and Maa bestow the devotees with happiness, prosperity, knowledge, wisdom and wish fulfilment.
