Nagpur shuttlers crash out of All India badminton tourney

NAGPUR: City shuttlers faltered in the All India Junior Ranking Badminton tournament being played at Dehradun on Friday.
All the shuttlers crashed out making it a forgettable day for Nagpur. Vaishnavi Bhale and Mugdha Agrey, both seed No. 16, went down fighting in three games in their respective age categories.
RESULTS
(Round 2) U-17 girls singles: 16-Mugdha Agrey lost to Unnati Bisht 23-21, 21-23, 15-21; Pallavi Pitale lost to 10-Anshu Sharma 15-21, 8-21.
U-19 girls singles: 16-Vaishnavi Bhale bt Diksha Choudhary 21-12, 21-14; Mugdha Agrey lost to 2-Shriyanshi Pardeshi 3-21, 9-21.
U-19 girls doubles: Vaishnavi Bhale-Mrunmayi Saoji lost to 2-M Archana-P Sonika Sai 16-21, 21-19, 10-21.
(Round 3) U-19 girls singles: 16-Vaishnavi Bhale lost to 5-Sri Krishna Priya 11-21, 21-18, 12-21.
