They put on 58 together before a costly mix-up led to Parmar's dismissal at an inopportune moment.

Full credit to Japan Under-19 for not only batting out the full 50 overs but also pushing their total beyond 200. For a side still finding its feet at this level, that effort will do wonders for their confidence. Australia Under-19 were disciplined for the most part with the ball, though they might feel they missed a chance to finish the job earlier.
