MUMBAI: Former Australia opener Mathew Hayden believes that the kind of form Virat Kohli is in right now, it will be tough for the Australian bowling attack, especially youngster Jhye Richardson, to keep the Indian skipper quiet.


Australia are in India to play two T20 Internationals and five One-day Internationals starting February 24.

"In the recent series (in Australia), Virat did have some trouble against Richardson, who played beautifully, taking Virat's wicket thrice. But, I believe it will be a very different scenario this time around. Jhye is a young player, not with a lot of experience of playing cricket in India, so I believe Virat will be dominant in this one," says Hayden.

In a potential clash between opener Rohit Sharma and left-arm pacer Jason Behrendorff, Hayden says the 28-year-old "is tall, has good pace and bowls into the wicket" will certainly be challenging, cautioning however that in one-day cricket, "Rohit is right on top of his game".
