CHENNAI: India were bowled out for 329 in their first innings on day two of the second Test against England on Sunday.


SCORECARD
Resuming the day at 300/6, India batted for 7.5 overs with Pant scoring an unbeaten 58 off 77 balls. With the tail not able to contribute much, the southpaw eventually ran out of partners.


For India, India opener Rohit Sharma topscored with 161, while Ajinkya Rahane (67) and Rishabh Pant (58 not out) hit half-centuries.


For England, spinner Moeen Ali claimed 4 for 128, while Olly Stone returned 3 for 47.

England are 1-0 up in the four-Test series. They won the opening match by 227 runs.
