England vs Scotland Live Score, T20 World Cup 2024 - Scotland opt to bat against England

England vs Scotland Live Score, Women's T20 World Cup 2024: Scotland's chances of progressing to the next round of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup may be over, but with qualification for the next World Cup at stake, they have plenty to play for as they look to end their campaign on a high.

Though the two teams have never faced each other before, the Scottish side boasts ample experience from the County Championship, giving them some insight into their English opponents. The Katheryn Bryce-led Scotland will aim to make the match as challenging as possible for England, particularly as Group B's standings could be decided by net run rate.

The conditions in Sharjah have generally favored teams batting first, which could be an advantage for Scotland if they win the toss. While the outcome may be expected to lean heavily in England's favor, Scotland will hope to capitalize on any favorable factors to push for a competitive performance.

England, led by Heather Knight, have so far shown their mastery of the Sharjah conditions, utilizing their strong spin attack effectively. Although the likes of Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Nat Sciver-Brunt have performed well with the bat, there are still some concerns in England's batting lineup. They will look to use this match as an opportunity to address those issues and build momentum for the knockout stages.
