T20 World Cup warm up matches today: Final prep for contenders Australia and New Zealand

India won their T20 World Cup warm up match against South Africa on Wednesday by 30 runs in Navi Mumbai.

Batting first, India scored 240 for 6 and then restricted South Africa to 210 for 7 in 20 overs. Ishan Kishan scored 53 runs off 20 balls to help India set a strong total. The team used this match to test their batting and bowling before the T20 World Cup starts.



Earlier, on Monday, India A won a T20 World Cup warm up match against the United States by 38 runs. India A scored 238 for 3 and then restricted the USA to 200.

India A will play another T20 World Cup warm up match against Namibia on February 6, but India’s main team has no more warm‑up games.

India’s next main fixture in the T20 World Cup is against the USA on February 7, at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Several T20 World Cup warm up matches are being played ahead of the main tournament.

Namibia beat Scotland and Afghanistan beat West Indies in their warm‑ups.

A scheduled match between Pakistan and Ireland was abandoned because of rain.

T20 World Cup warm up matches today:

The first match is Oman vs Zimbabwe at 11:00 AM in Colombo.

At 1:00 PM, Canada will play Nepal in Chennai.

In the afternoon, Australia face the Netherlands at 3:00 PM in Colombo.

The last match of the day is New Zealand vs USA at 5:00 PM in Navi Mumbai.

The main fixtures of the T20 World Cup will begin on February 7.
