The tournament will feature top teams from around the world. Group stage matches will end by October 15. Semi-finals are set for October 17 and 18, while the final match will take place on October 20.

The first day of matches on October 3 will include Bangladesh playing against Scotland and Pakistan facing Sri Lanka. Defending champions Australia, who have won the last three editions and six titles overall, will aim to continue their winning streak.

India’s tournament journey will start on October 4 against New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium.

Notably, there has been a slight schedule adjustment for the double-header on 5 October in Sharjah: Australia will now face Sri Lanka at 14:00, followed by Bangladesh against England at 18:00 local time.

The 2024 Women's T20 World Cup, originally set to take place in Bangladesh, has been relocated due to domestic unrest in the country. The tournament was scheduled to be held in Dhaka and Sylhet. The current situation, including reports of a government overthrow, led to the decision to move the event to UAE.
