Upon their arrival at the airport, the upbeat Pakistani squad boarded a bus that took them to their team hotel, where they will prepare for the pivotal match. Amid the excitement and anticipation, one of the most fervent supporters of the Pakistan cricket team, known as Bashir Chacha, expressed his optimism about the Indian batting duo, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.
"Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will score runs against Pakistan," Bashir Chacha confidently stated during an interview with ANI.
The Men in Green recently kept their winning streak in the World Cup intact by achieving a remarkable victory over Sri Lanka at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Abdullah Shafique and Mohammed Rizwan's centuries were instrumental in helping Pakistan pull off the highest run chase in World Cup history, triumphing over Sri Lanka by six wickets. Rizwan's unbeaten 131 off 121 balls, along with Shafique's 113 and a fiery cameo from Iftikhar Ahmed, allowed Pakistan to successfully chase a target of 344 with 10 balls to spare. This historic match also witnessed four centuries in a men's World Cup for the first time, with Pakistan emerging victorious in a run-fest thriller.
