IND vs PAK Highlights, ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025: India thrash Pakistan by 90 runs

IND vs PAK Live Score, ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025: India Under-19 were bowled out for 240 in 46.1 overs against Pakistan in their ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 clash at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Sunday, despite a fighting knock from Aaron George and useful contributions from Kanishk Chouhan and skipper Ayush Mhatre.

With the spotlight firmly on teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi after his record-breaking 171 in the previous match, Pakistan struck early to remove the dangerous opener for just five.

Mohammad Sayyam produced a sharp delivery in the fourth over, inducing a miscued shot as Suryavanshi was caught and bowled, triggering wild celebrations from the Pakistan camp.

India captain Ayush Mhatre attempted to counterattack in the powerplay, scoring a brisk 38 off 25 balls, including four fours and three sixes. He added 49 runs with Aaron George as India raced to 78 inside the first 10 overs. However, Pakistan clawed their way back once Mhatre was dismissed by Sayyam, caught behind by Hamza Zahoor.

Aaron George anchored the innings thereafter, holding one end together as wickets kept falling at regular intervals. He struck 12 fours and a six in a well-composed 85 off 88 deliveries, showing maturity under pressure.

George found some support from Abhigyan Kundu (22) and later from Kanishk Chouhan, who played a crucial counter-attacking knock.

Chouhan scored 46 off 46 balls, including two fours and three sixes, and helped India push past the 200-run mark. Their partnership briefly revived India’s innings, but Pakistan struck twice in quick succession to halt the momentum. George fell to Abdul Subhan, followed soon after by Chouhan, leaving India struggling to accelerate at the death.

Pakistan’s bowling attack was led by Mohammad Sayyam and Abdul Subhan, who picked up three wickets each. Niqab Shafiq chipped in with two wickets, while Ali Raza and Ahmed Hussain claimed one apiece to keep the pressure on throughout the innings.

India eventually folded for 240, losing their last six wickets for just 67 runs. The total, while competitive, left the Ayush Mhatre-led side needing a disciplined bowling effort against a Pakistan batting unit that had posted 345 in their previous outing.

IND vs PAK Live Score: 'Main Bihar se hoon'
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi showcased an extraordinary performance in the U-19 Asia Cup match against UAE in Dubai on Wednesday, scoring 171 runs off just 95 balls. His remarkable innings helped India post a massive total of 433/6 in their allocated 50 overs.

The 14-year-old left-handed batsman from Bihar set a new world record in U-19 cricket by hitting fourteen sixes and nine fours during his innings.

During the 32nd over of India's innings, when Sooryavanshi was approaching his century, an interesting exchange occurred between him and UAE wicketkeeper Saleh Amin.

"Come on boys. 90's curse. 90's curse," Amin was heard saying on the stump mic.

"Tere saath selfie loon? (Wanna take selfie with me?)" Sooryavanshi responded to the UAE wicketkeeper.

When asked about the incident later, Sooryavanshi responded confidently: "Main Bihar se hoon. Peeth peeche jo bhi baatein hoti hain, usse mujhko farak nahi padta." (I am from Bihar. What is said behind my back does not bother me.)

The match began with UAE captain Yayin Rai winning the toss and asking India to bat first. India faced an early setback when captain Ayush Mhatre was dismissed for just four runs in the third over.

Sooryavanshi then joined forces with Aaron George at the crease. The young batsman initially played with caution before accelerating his innings, reaching his fifty in just 30 balls.

His powerful hitting display earned him a new tournament record for most sixes in a single innings in the U-19 Asia Cup. He surpassed the previous record of ten sixes set by Afghanistan's Darwish Rasooli in 2017.

Sooryavanshi continued his aggressive batting, reaching his century in 56 balls. He maintained his momentum to score 150 runs in 84 balls before being run out after scoring 171 runs. His innings came at an impressive strike rate of 180.

The innings now stands as the second-highest score by an Indian in Youth ODI cricket. The record is still held by Ambati Rayudu, who scored an unbeaten 177 against England U-19 in 2002.

The Indian innings was well supported by Aaron George and Vihaan Malhotra, who both scored 69 runs each. Vedant Trivedi contributed 38 runs, while Abhigyan Kundu and Kanishk Chouhan added 32 and 28 runs, respectively.

The combined effort helped India set an enormous target of 434 runs for the UAE team.

UAE's response resulted in a score of 199/7 in their allocated 50 overs. Their innings was highlighted by Uddish Suri's unbeaten 78 and Prithvi Madhu's fifty. India U19 secured a dominant 234-run win.

India U19 will face their next challenge against Pakistan U19 in a group stage match on Sunday.

IND vs PAK Live Score: Vaibhav Suryavanshi responds after overtaking Virat Kohli
India’s 14-year-old batting prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi has emerged as the most-searched Indian personality on Google in 2025 after his stunning 171 off 95 balls in the U19 Asia Cup clash against UAE at Dubai’s ICC Academy Ground on Friday.

Hailing from Samastipur in Bihar, Suryavanshi registered the second-highest individual score by an Indian in youth ODIs, trailing only Ambati Rayudu’s unbeaten 177 against England in 2002.

The teenager’s blistering knock included nine boundaries and 14 maximums, establishing a new record for the most sixes in a single U19 innings.

In the post-match presentation, the broadcaster drew attention to Suryavanshi’s soaring popularity, pointing out that he had overtaken Virat Kohli to become India’s most searched personality and was placed sixth on the global list.

"When we conduct research about you, you may not be aware of this. According to Google, you are the most searched person in India overall over the last year, even surpassing Virat Kohli. You are in the sixth spot in terms of being the most searched personality in the world. Our job is to build you up; our job is to do research about you. But it is not your job; your job is to keep the focus. Amidst all this hype, how do you stay grounded?" the broadcaster asked.

Asked about dealing with the sudden surge in attention, Suryavanshi responded with characteristic humility.

"I don't pay attention to these things. I keep the focus on my game. Yes, I do hear about these developments, and it does feel nice. I look at it, feel good about it and then move forward. That's about it," replied Suryavanshi.

The sensational effort in the Group A opener against UAE has also placed him ninth on the list of highest individual scores in men’s U19 ODIs.

IND vs PAK Live Score: India recorded the highest-ever score
India registered the highest-ever total in Men’s U19 Asia Cup history, piling up a mammoth 433 for 6 in their tournament opener against UAE at the ICC Academy Ground on Friday.

Teenage sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi starred with a sensational 171, while Aaron George (69) and Vihaan Malhotra (69) chipped in with valuable half-centuries. Late-order contributions from Vedant Trivedi (38), Abhigyan Kundu (32) and Kanishk Chouhan (28) added the finishing touches to India’s record-breaking effort.

In the process, India surpassed their previous best U19 ODI total of 425 for 3, set against Scotland in 2004. The 433 now stands as the third-highest team total in the history of men’s U19 one-day cricket.

The 14-year-old Suryavanshi also rewrote the record books with his blistering 171 off just 95 deliveries, setting a new benchmark for the highest individual score by an Indian in the U19 Asia Cup.

The earlier Indian record in the tournament belonged to Himanshu Rana, who had struck 130 against Afghanistan in Colombo in 2016. Overall, the highest individual score in U19 Asia Cup history remains Soumya Sarkar’s 209 for Bangladesh against Qatar in 2012.

Suryavanshi’s dazzling knock, studded with nine fours, came at a staggering strike rate of 180. He raced to his half-century in 30 balls, brought up his century in only 56 deliveries and reached 150 in just 84 balls. His 14 sixes are also the most by any batter in the tournament’s history, eclipsing Afghanistan’s Darwish Rasooli, who had hit 10 against UAE in 2017.

The young opener was dismissed in the 33rd over with the score reading 265 for 3, providing India with the perfect platform to surge past the 400-run mark.

Earlier this month, Suryavanshi had made headlines by smashing an unbeaten 108 off 61 balls for Bihar against Maharashtra in Kolkata, becoming the youngest centurion in the history of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

At the Rising Stars Asia Cup earlier this year, he had also dazzled with a 144 off just 42 balls for India A against UAE, hammering 11 fours and 15 sixes.

IND vs PAK Live Score: Suryavanshi rewrite the record books
That onslaught saw Suryavanshi rewrite the record books, as he broke the U19 Asia Cup record for the most sixes in a single innings, surpassing Afghanistan’s Darwish Rasooli, who had hit 10 sixes in 2017.

Suryavanshi raced to his century in just 56 deliveries and showed no signs of slowing down, reaching 150 off only 84 balls. His remarkable knock finally ended at 171 off 95 balls, struck at an imposing strike rate of 180.

The 171 now stands as the second-highest individual score by an Indian in Youth ODIs, just behind Ambati Rayudu’s unbeaten 177 against England U19 in 2002.

While Aaron George and Vihaan Malhotra both scored 69, valuable contributions from Vedant Trivedi (38), Abhigyan Kundu (32) and Kanishk Chouhan (28) ensured India finished on a mammoth 433 for 6, setting UAE an imposing target of 434.

IND vs PAK Live Score: India create record
The India Under-19 cricket team produced one of the most destructive batting performances in Youth ODI history on Friday, registering the third-highest innings total in the format. India etched their name into the record books by piling up 433 for 6 in 50 overs against UAE in the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025.

In the process, India U19 bettered their own previous mark of 425 for 3, which had come against Scotland during the ICC Under-19 World Cup in Dhaka in 2004. In that match, Shikhar Dhawan had starred with an unbeaten 155 as Scotland were bundled out for 155, handing India a thumping 270-run victory.

Australia U19 still hold the record for the highest innings total in Youth ODIs, having smashed 480 for 6 against Kenya in Dunedin in 2002. New Zealand U19 sit second on the list after scoring 436 for 4 against Kenya in Christchurch in 2018.

After being sent in to bat by UAE skipper Yayin Rai, India suffered an early setback when captain Ayush Mhatre was dismissed for four in the third over. That wicket brought Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Aaron George together, and the duo soon launched a brutal assault on the UAE bowling attack.

Suryavanshi, who has been in red-hot form, began with composure before unleashing his full range of strokes. He brought up his half-century off just 30 balls and soon shifted into overdrive.

The highlight of his innings was the sheer power on display. The young batter from Bihar punished the UAE bowlers with nine fours and an astonishing 14 sixes.

07:59 (IST) Dec 14
IND vs PAK Live Score: Suryavanshi’s blistering effort
Suryavanshi’s blistering effort, laced with nine fours, now stands as the second-highest score by an Indian in youth ODIs, behind Ambati Rayudu’s unbeaten 177 against England in 2002, and the ninth-highest individual score in men’s U19 ODIs.

Asked to bat first, the young opener looked in a league of his own, dismantling the UAE attack as he brought up his fifty in just 30 balls and raced to a century off only 56 deliveries.

He then added a mammoth 212-run partnership with George, completely overwhelming the hosts’ bowlers. Suryavanshi’s dazzling innings finally ended in the 33rd over when he was bowled by spinner Suri.

The middle order ensured the momentum did not dip thereafter, with Vedant Trivedi (38), Abhigyan Kundu (32 not out) and Kanishk Chouhan (28) chipping in to push India beyond the coveted 400-run mark.

Chasing an imposing target, UAE lost two wickets inside the first four overs, and the quick removal of Muhammad Rayan, Ayaan Misbah and Ahmed Khudadad in the space of nine balls left them reeling at 48 for 5, effectively sealing the contest.

Although Suri and Madhu combined for an 85-run stand to stem the collapse, the outcome was already beyond doubt.

IND vs PAK Live Score: Hello and welcome!
Hello and welcome to the Live coverage of ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025 match between India and Pakistan.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi produced a masterclass with the bat, hammering a scintillating 171 off just 95 deliveries to propel India to a crushing 234-run victory over hosts UAE in the opening match of the U19 Asia Cup here on Friday. With that statement performance, the spotlight will firmly remain on the young batting prodigy as India prepare for a mouth-watering clash against arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday.

The 14-year-old from Samastipur, Bihar, put on a breathtaking exhibition of power-hitting, smashing 14 sixes — the most by any batter in a single U19 innings — during his sensational knock.

India’s dominance was further underlined by half-centuries from Vihaan Malhotra (69) and Aaron George (69), as the side amassed a colossal 433 for 6 in their 50 overs. The total is India’s highest-ever in U19 ODIs and also the biggest score in the history of the U19 Asia Cup.

In response, UAE were never able to mount a serious challenge, despite valiant fifties from Prithvi Madhu (50) and Uddish Suri (78 not out), and could only reach 199 for 7 in their allotted overs.
IND vs PAK Live Score, ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2025: India Under-19 were dismissed for 240 in 46.1 overs against Pakistan in their ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 match at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, with Aaron George’s fighting 85 standing out in an otherwise inconsistent batting effort.

All eyes were on Vaibhav Suryavanshi following his stunning 171 in the previous game, but Pakistan pacer Mohammad Sayyam silenced the excitement early. The left-hander was caught and bowled for just five, handing Pakistan an early breakthrough and sparking animated celebrations.

Captain Ayush Mhatre provided early momentum with a quick 38 off 25 balls, striking four boundaries and three sixes as India reached 78 inside the powerplay. However, Pakistan tightened the screws once Mhatre was dismissed, triggering a steady fall of wickets through the middle overs.

Aaron George held firm amid the collapse, anchoring the innings with a composed 85 off 88 balls, including 12 fours and a six. He shared brief partnerships with Abhigyan Kundu and later with Kanishk Chouhan, who played an aggressive knock of 46 off 46 deliveries.

Chouhan’s innings, laced with three sixes, helped India cross 200, but Pakistan struck at crucial moments to deny India a late flourish. George and Chouhan fell in quick succession, and the lower order failed to add meaningful runs.

Pakistan’s bowling effort was well-rounded, with Mohammad Sayyam and Abdul Subhan picking up three wickets each. Niqab Shafiq claimed two wickets, while Ali Raza and Ahmed Hussain chipped in with one apiece.

India were eventually bowled out for 240, setting Pakistan a manageable target in the high-stakes contest.
