Stuck on 99 not out after India lost two wickets and had the last man in form of Mohammed Siraj, Reddy brought up his ton in the 115th over of the innings, hitting Scott Boland for a boundary down the ground.

He finished the day on an unbeaten on 105 runs off 176 balls (ten fours and one six) before bad light forced early stumps.

Riding on Reddy's ton, India were 358 for 9 in reply to Australia's 474 in the first innings at the close of play on Day 3.

India still trail Australia by 116 runs.
