Barring a couple of batters, everyone else were dismissed for single-digit scores as Nandre Burger led the rout of India on his debut.
However, despite the loss, Virat Kohli stood out for the team and battled his way 76 before getting dismissed as the final wicket.
As a disappointed Kohli was headed back to the dressing room, skipper Rohit Sharma was seen appreciating the batter's valiant effort with applause and a pat on the back.

In the two-Test series, South Africa now have an unassailable 1-0 lead.
