Dinesh Karthik engineered one of India's memorable wins. In the final of the
Nidahas Trophy 2018
on Sunday night, India needed 34 runs off the final two overs against Bangladesh. Karthik rose to the occasion and played an innings of a lifetime, clobbering runs all around the park and to top it all, he sealed the deal with a last-ball six.
The epic knock and consequently the victory was a perfect end to the tri-series with India lifting the trophy after starting the tournament on a losing note. DK, the man of the match, blasted 29 off eight deliveries - a brief but unforgettable knock that had three sixes and two fours in it.
Naturally, the effort drew praises from all around with a host of former and current cricketers taking to Twitter to laud India on the win.
