Former England captain Nasser Hussain revealed what Dinesh Karthik said about KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant's partnership on the fourth day of the first Test match at Headingley. The duo were involved in a 195-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
"This partnership — DK summed it up pretty well: classical music at one end and hip-hop at the other," Nasser Hussain said on Sky Sports.
"Hip-hop in Rishabh Pant sort of toned down when he went through a little phase just before drinks, where he had a word with himself. I think he just got into his innings and got his relatively sensible head on," he added.

India’s star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant continued his scintillating form, smashing his eighth Test century. Pant created history and became the first Indian wicketkeeper to score centuries in both innings of a Test match.
Remarkably, this was Pant’s second century of the match, following his 134 in the first innings — marking back-to-back hundreds in the same Test.
With this feat, Pant has joined an elite list of visiting batters who have recorded five consecutive 50-plus scores in England.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, KL Rahul slammed his ninth Test century and third in England. Earlier, Rahul had scored centuries at The Oval in 2018 and Lord’s in 2021. Interestingly, only one of his nine to date has come at home.
Hussain showered praise on Rahul's batting and said it was a masterclass by the Indian opener on how to bat in English conditions.
"KL Rahul had a relatively sensible head for a very long time. He is such an elegant player. Even when the ball goes past the edge, he remains unfazed. He has played beautifully.
"If you ask someone to watch and learn how to bat in English conditions, he’s giving you a masterclass — just like he did at Lord's three or four years ago. He has given us another masterclass."
