India are putting up a solid second innings on Day 4 of the Anderson-Tendulkar trophy at Headingley Cricket Ground in Leeds. Following the wicket of skipper Shubman Gill early on at 8 runs from 16 deliveries, vice-captain Rishabh Pant has been a lively presence on the crease alongside KL Rahul. Pant walked onto the crease having scored an impeccable 134 from 178 balls. On Day 4, Pant's intensity and liveliness has been no less in comparison to the first innings, with several stump mic moments and highlighted reactions stealing the spotlight. One particular moment between the wicketkeeper and England pacer Chris Woakes has gone viral on social media.Pant, who has been firing on all cylinders ever since coming on to bat unexpectedly chose not to face a delivery from Woakes. Seeing Pant move away from the crease, the England bowler was forced to cut short his run-up. Visibly annoyed, Pant immediately apologized to the 36-year-old. "I was not ready. Sorry Woakesy," added Pant with a hint of a smile on his face.

Picking up the same from the stump mic, the match commentator also expressed his surprise at how respectful the India vice-captain's apology sounded. Despite his animated mannerisms on the crease and aggressive gameplay, Pant has steadily been racking up the runs alongside KL Rahul.
At Lunch on Day 4, the duo have already amassed a 61-run partnership from 140 balls. As the day progresses, fans can expect even more of the mind games, stump mic chatter and lively moments on display between India and England.
