Virat Kohli made headlines on Saturday for taking a spectacular catch against Australia in the third ODI all while struggling with his batting form. The Indian cricket star set a record with his 77th catch against Australia, the most by any non-wicketkeeper against a single opponent in international cricket.

However, his return to ODI cricket has been challenging, marking his first-ever back-to-back ducks in the format. He fell for a 8-ball duck in Perth and a 4-ball nought in Adelaide. He will get a third chance in the ongoing third ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground.




The remarkable catch came when Washington Sundar bowled to Matthew Short. Short hit the ball hard and flat, but Kohli, positioned at square leg, showed quick reflexes. He crouched low and took a reverse-cupped catch right in front of his face, sending the Australian batter walking back disappointed.

Despite this fielding milestone, Kohli's batting form has been a concern. The 36-year-old's comeback in the ongoing three-match ODI series against Australia hasn't gone as planned. India are already trailing 0-2 under Shubman Gill's leadership, and Kohli's consecutive zeros have worried his fans.
