Bhuvneshwar for his lethal swing bowling and exceptional control in the powerplay and death overs, Bhuvneshwar's experience and adaptability make him a prized asset for RCB. The franchise is banking on his ability to lead the bowling attack and deliver under pressure as they aim to strengthen their quest for a maiden IPL title.

Bhuvneshwar made history on Saturday, becoming the first Indian fast bowler to reach the milestone of 300 wickets in T20 cricket. He achieved this remarkable feat during a Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy clash between Uttar Pradesh and Delhi at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Bhuvneshwar, once a vital cog in India's limited-overs bowling attack, was released by Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the auction. While his swing bowling and ability to bowl in the powerplay remain assets, his form has fluctuated.

The right-arm pacer, who last donned the Indian jersey in November 2022, recently featured in the Uttar Pradesh T20 League, where he had an underwhelming performance, managing just seven wickets in 11 matches.
