NEW DELHI: Having already become the most successful captain ever of the Indian cricket team,
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has now become the first skipper to record 100 victories in the history of
Indian Premier League.

IPL match was marred by controversy that took place in the last over of the game.
It began when CSK needed 8 runs off the last 3 balls to win the match, Ben Stokes bowled a waist high delivery which was signalled no-ball by the main umpire Ulhas Gandhe who later reverted his decision after square leg umpire Bruce Oxenford indicated that he did not signal anything.
The entire episode prompted Dhoni to step onto the field to argue with the umpires as he was clearly pointing that umpire Gandhe signalled it a no ball. But umpire Oxenford calmed Dhoni and sent him back before Santner finished it off in style by smashing a last-ball six.
The 37-year-old Dhoni bailed his team out from precarious 24/4 as he added 95-run partnership with Ambati Rayudu for the fifth wicket and guided Chennai Super Kings to four-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2019 match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Thursday.
Dhoni scored 58 off 43 studded with three sixes and two fours while Rayudu also hit the same number of boundaries in his 57 runs knock that came off 47 balls.
