Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals will have little to lose as they face Gujarat Titans in their 10th league match against Gujarat Titans here on Monday. Placed at eighth spot in the table, Royals face uphill battle against high-flying Titans who are holding the top spot.
But, as their stand-in captain Riyan Parag said after the team lost by 11 runs against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Royals ‘will play for pride now’. RR’s regular captain Sanju Samson is not available for the match as he is yet to recover from a side strain he picked during the game against DC.

The possibility of a fight against Titans’ juggernaut which includes bowlers like Prasidh Krishna, Mohammed Siraj, Sai Kishore and Rashid Khan, look bleak. Titans’ top-order, captain Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler, are in red-hot form. The three have consistently scored runs giving their team a dream start.
