IPL retentions complete list: Who stayed where and for how much

The retained players list from all ten franchises of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been released, marking a crucial step in the lead-up to the IPL 2025 mega auction scheduled for the last week of November.

Heinrich Klaasen became the most expensive IPL retention, as Sunrisers Hyderabad didn't mind splashing Rs. 23 crore on the explosive South African. Following him in the list of most expensive retentions were Virat Kohli at Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Nicholas Pooran at Lucknow Super Giants - who were both retained at the cost of Rs. 23 crore.
