IPL flashback: Five lowest team totals
New Year Special
Royal Challengers Bangalore: 49 vs Kolkata Knight Riders (2017)
Royal Challengers Bangalore, who have the top two highest totals in Indian Premier League history, also incidentally have the lowest team total to their name. Chasing a modest 132-run target against Kolkata Knight Riders, the Virat Kohli-led outfit was bundled out for 49 runs in 9.4 overs at the Eden Gardens on April 23, 2017. Kohli fell for a first ball duck on the third ball of the run chase and no RCB batsman reached double figures, with Kedar Jadhav being the top scorer with 9 runs. Nathan Coulter-Nile, Chris Woakes and Colin de Grandhomme took three wickets each, as RCB succumbed to an embarrassing 82-run loss.
