Indian opener Smriti Mandhana struck a half-century and Bangladesh's Salma Khatun bagged three wickets as Trailblazers claimed the Women's T20 Challenge 2020 title with a 16-run win over two time defending champions Supernovas.

Nattakan Chantam impressed one and all with her agility on the field and it wasn't a surprise that Mandhana picked her for special praise.

"Chantam was a live-wire on the field. The boundary she saved with her acrobatic effort was a good advertisement for women's cricket. She also took a stunning catch in the cover region. There were 2-3 brilliant fielding efforts, especially Chantam. I have not seen a girl field like that," Mandhana said.

Chantam incidentally was also Thailand's top scorer in this year's Women's T20 World Cup in Australia.

The three-team women's tournament was held in the United Arab Emirates this time, alongside the men's Indian Premier League.
