NEW DELHI: "One more to go!" – that was the emotional and infectious message from Virat Kohli after Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) stormed into their fourth IPL final with a dominant eight-wicket win over Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 on Thursday.
The powerful moment came moments after RCB sealed the win in Mullanpur, chasing down a modest 102 in just 10 overs. A visibly charged Kohli was seen hugging nearly every teammate and support staff member before signaling "one more to go" – a moment that has gone viral on social media.

Phil Salt starred in RCB’s emphatic chase, smashing an unbeaten 56 off 27 balls, including six fours and three sixes. Punjab Kings, who were playing their first playoff since 2014, crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for just 101 in 14.1 overs.
While Kyle Jamieson briefly lit up the crowd with a wicket-maiden, dismissing Kohli for 12, it wasn’t enough to stop RCB’s momentum. The win was comprehensive, clinical and symbolic of a side peaking at just the right time.
Punjab will now face the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2 on June 1 for one last shot at the final.
