NEW DELHI: The Eden Gardens in Kolkata had a special guest for the Kolkata Knight Riders versus Royal Challengers Bangalore clash as Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan graced the iconic stadium with his presence.

As the stadium hosted it's first-ever match after the Covid hiatus, Shah Rukh, co-owner of KKR was at the venue for his team's first home game of the season.

Amid a rousing welcome, Shah Rukh, in his trademark style greeted the fans inside the stadium.

Earlier, KKR were asked to bat first after RCB skipper Faf du Plessis won the toss.



KKR, playing their second game tonight, lost their opener by 7 runs (DLS) against Punjab Kings.
