As the surface settled, their batters capitalized. Captain Faf du Plessis looked in magnificent touch, compiling an elegant 91 off just 52 balls. Unfortunately, he was forced to retire hurt in the 19th over while in the 90s, narrowly missing out on a well-deserved century.
Shubham Ranjane offered excellent support in the middle order, producing a valuable unbeaten 65 from 41 deliveries to help propel TSK to a formidable 188/4.

Seattle Orcas’ bowlers struggled to contain the scoring rate, especially during the powerplay and middle overs, before clawing back some control towards the death. Jasdeep Singh and Cameron Gannon were the only ones able to pick up wickets, claiming one each.
When it was Seattle’s turn to bat, the Texas Super Kings’ bowling attack took charge immediately. Riding high on momentum, the bowlers applied relentless pressure, striking regularly and denying the Orcas any chance to settle.
Adam Milne was the star of the show, delivering a superb 5/23—the fourth five-wicket haul in MLC history. Spinners Noor Ahmad and Akeal Hosein were also instrumental, chipping in with two wickets each.
Seattle Orcas were dismissed for 137, sealing a commanding 51-run triumph for Texas Super Kings.
