, the former Australian batsman was at his candid best while interacting with the media. Even at 42, he looked as fit as any present-day cricketer, prompting questions whether he was getting any movie offers.

Hussey wasn't surprised as he hit the question out of the park. "Acting is not my forte," Hussey told TOI.

Hussey, who is doing commentary in TNPL for the first time, said he enjoyed watching the local talents perform under pressure. He also felt that a few stars might be in the making. "Tamil Nadu has always been a cricketing state. It has got a rich history and tradition. There is a lot of motivation for the players. If they do well, they can get picked in the IPL as well. There might be a couple of stars in the making," said Hussey.

Madurai is the only team to have never won a match in the TNPL. Hussey said that the Vidyut Sivaramakrishnan-coached side might be faltering because they are trying too hard to win. "When you start losing, everyone in the team gets tensed. They try too hard and get negative thoughts. My suggestion is to focus on the fun element and work on the basics," said the 42-year-old.
