The 25-year-old said that him and his opening partner Sai Sudharsan do something that foils the opposition's plans. "I think the way we bat is not exactly similar, but the left-right combination helps. We both run very well between the wickets, and we're the kind of players who like to outsmart the opponent - including the bowlers," Gill shared on JioHotstar's Gen Bold.

Both Gill and Sudharsan are neck and neck in the race for the IPL Orange Cap, with the duo on 601 and 617 runs respectively. Separated by just 16 runs, their scores in today's match can potentially shake up the top two spots in the standings.
