India Women vs England Women, Only Test, Day 4 Highlights: Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia help India salvage a draw

Sneh Rana (80*) and Taniya Bhatia (44*) bailed India out of precarious position of 240/8 to 344/8 with their unbeaten 104-run stand for the 9th wicket and helped the visitors snatch a draw from the jaws of defeat against England in their own backyard. Deepti Sharma also produced a resolute 168-ball 54 before being dismissed at the stroke of lunch. England, who scored 396/9d in their first innings, enforced the follow-on after bowling out India for 231 in their first essay.

The one-off women's Test between India and England ended in a draw on the final day on Saturday, with the visitors defying the home side's attack to score 344 for 8 in their second innings after following-on. India were forced to follow-on on Friday after conceding a 165-run first innings lead to England. But the visitors recovered from a middle-order batting collapse in their second innings to defy the home side bowlers on a sluggish pitch on the fourth and final day.
