India Women vs England Women, Only Test, Day 4 Highlights: Sneh Rana, Taniya Bhatia help India salvage a draw

Shafali Verma (35*) and Smriti Mandhana (27*) are off to a solid start. India Women get to 63/0 at Tea in reply to England's 396/9 d on Day 2. A cautious approach at the start followed by some scintillating stroke play in the latter half of the session from debutant Shafali. But, India still 333 runs behind England in the first innings.

Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma are off to a cautious start against the English pacers in seaming conditions. Both have added 23 runs in the first 10 overs and are treading cautiously in overcast conditions.

Dunkley also became the 10th English woman to score fifty in Test cricket. Anya Shrubsole (16*) also provided excellent support to her in the session as both added 31 runs off 39 balls in the second half of the first session. India bowlers toiled hard and managed just a couple of wickets in the session.

Both looking pretty comfortable out in the middle as both have added 26 runs for the ninth wicket. Dunkley, especially has been phenomenal since the morning on her debut, adding bulk of the runs on Day 2.

A moment to cherish forever for Sophia Dunkley. She gets to her maiden Test fifty on Test debut. A gritty knock from the 22-year-old. Gets to her fifty off 97 balls with the help of 5 fours. Dunkley has batted beautifully since morning and now she will be eyeing to accelerate the scoring for her team.

Sophia Dunkley (28*) and Sophie Ecclestone (14*) take England Women past the 300-run mark in the 103rd over. Both the batters, especially Dunkley will now look to add some quick runs on the board.

Early breakthrough for India Women on Day 2. Jhulan Goswami is spot on. Traps Katherine Brunt right in front of the stumps. The original decision from the on-field umpire was not out but Mithali Raj and Co. looked pretty convinced. They go for the review and it turns out in Team India's favour. On the first day, England managed 269 for 6 with India spinners hitting back with four wickets in the final session to restrict the host's scoring. On Day 2, with a relatively new second ball, Shikha Pandey and Jhulan Goswami have started the proceedings with Sophia Dunkley and Katherine Brunt resuming for England.

So, four overs with the second new ball for India Women as Katherine Brunt (7*) and Sophia Dunkley (17*) survive the day. England Women reach 269 for 6, riding on an impressive 95 from their skipper Heather Knight. India bounced back with four wickets in the final session but the day still belonged to England. The spin duo of Deepti Sharma and Deepti Sharma the the most of the damage, sharing 5 wickets between them while debutant Pooja Vastrakar also picked up a wicket earlier in the morning session.

England Women 264/6 after 88 overs. Jhulan Goswami comes back into the attack.

Third wicket for Sneh Rana on Test debut. This time she removes Georgia Elwiss for 5. Outside edge and Deepti Sharma takes a sharp low catch at first slip. India women have taken 4 wickets so far in this last session on Day 1 after reeling in the first two. ENGW 251/6 after 81.1 overs.

OUT!!! Big blow for England Women. Deepti Sharma claims her second wicket. She is turning around the match for India in this last session. This time Deepti removes skipper Heather Knight for 95. Traps her in front from around the wicket. Once again England lose a review but Heather had to take that. She unfortunately misses out on a ton. ENGW 244/5 after 78.1 overs.

Double jolt for England Women as Amy Ellen Jones now falls cheaply. Sneh Rana gets sharp turn off the pitch and Amy misses the ball on the backfoot. Goes for the review but England Women are one again wrong. Ball tracking confirms that the delivery was hitting the stumps. Second wicket for Sneh as Amy walks back for 1(9). ENGW 236/4 after 75.4 overs.

OUT!!! Deepti Sharma breaks the 90-run partnership between Natalie Sciver and Heather Knight. A wicket for Deepti in her comeback over. Poor shot from Sciver as she completely misses a tossed-up, straight delivery from Deepti. Sciver is trapped right in front and the umpire raises his finger straightaway. Sciver goes for the review but the ball-tracking also confirms that she was caught dead in front. Sciver walks back for 42. ENGW 230/3 after 73 overs.

FOUR! A cracking punch off the backfoot from Natalie Sciver off Harmanpreet Kaur and the ball beats the deep-point fielder. Sciver played it very late and gets the placement to perfection. 200 comes up for England with that beautiful shot. ENG 202/2 after 64.4 overs.

Another solid stand from the England batter. The third 50-run partnership of the day. Both Heather Knight and Natalie Sciver looking quite comfortable out there in the post Tea session.
