MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association on Wednesday inaugurated its newly-renovated state-of-the-art gym for its cricketers at its facility in BKC.

"We are thrilled to announce the opening of our newly renovated gym for men and women, International as well as all age group Mumbai State players at MCA Sharad Pawar Indoor Cricket Academy and Recreation Centre, BKC today," MCA jt secretary Deepak Patil informed the media in a release.

"A state-of-the-art facility designed to enhance the fitness and training experience for all our players. The inauguration event was graced by the presence of key dignitaries, including the president, Ajinkya Naik, newly-elected Secretary Abhay Hadap, Joint Secretary Deepak Patil and Apex Council member Kaushik Godbole, alongside the CIC Chairman Raju Kulkarni, Advisors Milind Rege and Diana Edulji," Patil said.

"This upgraded gym is a significant step forward in providing our players with the best possible environment for their physical development. Equipped with the latest fitness technology and facilities, the gym is tailored to meet the diverse needs of all athletes, ensuring they have access to the resources necessary to excel in their field," Patil said.

"The new gym will be instrumental in improving the overall performance and well-being of our players. We are confident that this facility will contribute to their success, helping them to achieve new heights in their cricketing careers. We look forward to seeing our players thrive in this enhanced training environment," Patil concluded.
