Serbian star Novak Djokovic is in Melbourne nowadays hoping to win an 11th Australian Open and record 25th Grand Slam singles title.

Djokovic has been spotted enjoying cricket games, most notably during matches in Australia and has been visibly intrigued by the dynamics of cricket.

Djokovic was once again in attendance during the Big Bash League (BBL) game between Melbourne Renegades and Melbourne Stars at Docklands Stadium in Melbourne on Sunday.

In the 8th over of the Melbourne Stars innings, Djokovic was left awestruck when Kane Richardson took a sky-high catch to dismiss Marcus Stoinis off Tom Rogers.

Rogers bowled a full delivery in the slot and Stoinis gave it a mighty swing of the bat. The ball went many a mile up in the air and almost touched the roof of the stadium before coming down. Richardson waited for the sky-high ball at long-on and caught it.

The Big Bash League shared a clip of the dismissal and Djokovic's awestruck reaction on their official X handle:

Both tennis and cricket involve a blend of skill, patience, and mental toughness. Tennis stars often catch cricket games during tournaments in cricket-loving nations like Australia and England.

Tennis stars enjoy the electrifying atmosphere of cricket stadiums, just as cricketers enjoy tennis Grand Slams and sky-high catches are game-changing moments that often leave fans and players in awe.
