CHENNAI: Offie M Prabhu (7-37) helped
India Pistons
register a comfortable 10-wicket win over AG’s Office in their TNCA Group A first division league clash here on Friday. After taking an 8-run lead in their first innings, India Pistons bowled out their opponents for 87 in their second with Prabhu being the wrecker-in-chief. Rajwinder Singh - who took 8-35 in the first innings - returned with figures of 3-32. Chasing 80, India Pistons cruised home without any hiccups.
Nelson too registered an innings and 109-run win over UFCC in their Group A encounter. Nelson declared their first innings on 280-7 with contributions from S Karthik (71), R Srinivasan (68) and
Robin Bist (69 n.o.). In their second essay, UFCC folded up for 61 with V Lakshman (5-32) and
Shahbaz Nadeem (5-25) sharing the spoils.
