, the home of the Dragons, on Thursday announced the appointment of
Vincent Prior
as their chief executive officer. He will assume responsibilities in January next year. Vincent succeeds
Heinrich Strydom
who resigned in June 2017 to join the Dolphins in
Kwazulu-Natal
.
Prior comes from a sporting background, having been a member of the South African national men's hockey team during his playing days. He is an experienced businessman and entrepreneur who brings much needed fresh thinking and innovative perspective to the dynamic and hard-working North West Cricket management team.
"We embarked on a process to find someone who will lead the management team and staff in pursuit of our ambitious growth plan and take North West Cricket to the next level, building on what our previous CEO's have been able to achieve," commented

Prior is currently group operations manager of StitchWise, a company supplying innovative safety products for the mining industry, where he has had a successful career in a very challenging environment.
