Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, top stars for Srinivasan book launch

CHENNAI: Defying The Paradigm Fifty Years of Grit, Vision and Institution Building — a coffee-table book chronicling the 50-year journey of India Cements vice-chairman and managing director and former BCCI president N Srinivasan with the company and cricket — will be released by Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami in what promises to be a glittering function at the Kalaivanar Arangam on Friday. Former India and Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni will receive the first copy.


The occasion will be attended by a galaxy of top players including legendary former captains like Chandu Borde, Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev. In addition, former stars such as GR Viswanath, Dilip Vengsarkar, K Srikkanth, Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Yuvraj Singh, Yashpal Sharma, Syed Kirmani, Javagal Srinath, Virender Sehwag and Brijesh Patel will also be present alongside past and present Tamil Nadu players like PK Belliappa, KR Rajagopal and Dinesh Karthik.

VB Chandrasekar, L Balaji, S Badrinath, Hemang Badani and the entire current Tamil Nadu Ranji Trophy team and members of CSK team like Ambati Rayudu will also be in attendance.
