PITCH REPORT - Athar Ali Khan is pitchside. He says that there is a lot more grass left on the wicket than the last game. Adds that the bowlers will target the 6-8 meter area to get help from the surface. Athar mentions that it is hard and compact but expects even bounce. Ends by saying that the batters will also enjoy playing their shots as the ball will come onto the bat nicely.

The middle order needs to step up - Shaheen Afridi, the skipper of Pakistan, says the wicket looks good, green on the surface and a little bit hard. Reckons their batters know their mistake, they come harder and play their shots, and Afridi fully believes in them. Shares that they started well with the bat in the last match, but want to play in the middle overs and get a big total. Informs Haris Rauf replaces Abrar Ahmed.

Focus on their process - Mehidy Hasan Miraz, the captain of Bangladesh, states that he expects his bowlers to click as they were ruthless in the last match. Continues that Nahid Rana did great, taking many wickets, which was a blessing. They're looking for wickets in the first 10 overs again. After being asked what are the plans for this match, he says that he would like to seal the series which won't be easy. All matches have been challenging. Miraz wants the team to focus on their process and as a batting unit, take responsibility to score runs. Miraz describes the pitch as a great wicket to bat on, and praises Tanzid's batting. He says bowling well makes things easier for a captain. Ends up by saying that there is no team changes and they're sticking with the same team.
