Drinks! Well, another hour has flown by! Saim Ayub and debutant Kamran Ghulam, both have done extremely well to stay in the middle and provide a bit of relief to Pakistan with a solid 3rd wicket stand so far. Both have negotiated the spinners cautiously as the ball has gotten softer now with not much assistance. With no success from a barrage of spin bowling, Ben Stokes has summoned pace once again. And this time, the ball has shown a hint of reverse, not too much, but just a bit for Carse. However, Pakistan would be delighted to stay unblemished in this session and would aim to go wicketless to assert more dominance. 

Brydon Carse to Saim Ayub, FOUR BYES! Carse misses his line as this is way down leg, on a back of a length, Ayub lets it be. The keeper, Jamie Smith dives to his right but can only manage to get fingertips to it. It gets away and races down to the deep fine leg fence for a boundary.

He wanted to go over mid-wicket but got a top edge which resulted in hitting it much squarer. Luckily for him, the ball lands well wide of the sprinting Shoaib Bashir at deep square leg. A couple of runs taken. The 100-run stand comes up between these two batters.
