PITCH REPORT - Michael Atherton is near the deck. He notes that the ground staff watered the surface two days ago and utilized two large fans at both ends to speed up the drying process. Atherton also mentions that the pitch was left open to dry yesterday, resulting in some cracks opening slightly, though they remain firm. He expects the pitch to play well for the first day or two.
