Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh Highlights, Asia Cup 2025 Super 4: Bangladesh beat Sri Lanka by four wickets

Wanindu Hasaranga looks to go down the ground but does not quite go through with the bat swing. Ends up checking his lofted shot and it goes only as far as long off. Tanzid Hasan at the long off fence is aware of where the rope is and he goes for the reverse cup catch in reverse cup style. The ball bobbles in Tanzid's hands initially but he manages to complete the catch on the second attempt. Dunith Wellalage walks out to bat.

Mustafizur Rahman to Wanindu Hasaranga, On a length, on leg stump. Wanindu Hasaranga hangs back and clips it toward deep mid-wicket and hurries to get back to the strike. Two runs between the wicket!

Mustafizur Rahman to Kamindu Mendis, OUT! IN THE AIR... TAKEN! Mustafizur Rahman gets his second wicket! Delivers it fuller and wide outside off. Kamindu Mendis tries to launch it downtown but connects the upper toe end of the bat. The ball gets skied behind the wicket. The keeper, Litton Das settles under it and does the rest.

Mustafizur Rahman to Charith Asalanka, OUT! CHARITH ASALANKA IS RUN OUT! Catch dropped but Tawhid Hridoy manages to recover and find the Sri Lankan skipper short of his crease. This is dug in short by Mustafizur and it is the off-pace delivery, outside off. Charith is made to reach out and he drags the pull in front of square on the leg side. Tawhid is a bit late in running off the ropes and puts in a dive. Tries to scoop the ball inches off the turf but fails to do so. The ball dribbles beside him off his hands. Hridoy is quick to get back up on his feet and fires in a throw on the bounce towards the batting end. The keeper, Litton Das is standing behind the stumps and he collects before breaking the stumps. Charith puts in a desperate dive and it is referred upstairs. The replays find Asalanka short of his crease despite the dive.

Shoriful Islam to Dasun Shanaka, SIX! CLUBBED AWAY! FIFTY FOR SHANAKA! Attempted yorker, but it ends up being a low full toss, on the stumps. Dasun Shanaka swipes it up and over the long on fence and gets the six runs to get his half-century! He lifts his willow up and soaks up all the applause from the crowd as well as the pavilion. 

Shoriful Islam to Dasun Shanaka, SIX! Oh... that's pure commentator's curse! Back of a length, angling across the batter. Dasun Shanaka hangs back and launches it up and over the deep cover fence for six runs.

Tawhid dives full-length in front but the ball bursts through his hands. It rolls behind and the batters take a couple.

Kusal Perera frees his arms to perform a cut but gets a nick on the under edge. The ball zips just toward the left of the keeper and Litton Das gathers it well. The umpire raises his finger after a strong appeal from the players but Perera goes for a review. The UltraEdge shows a clear spike and Perera takes a review with him. Charith Asalanka is the new batter.

Gets a top edge that travels all the way to deep fine leg. Mustafizur Rahman comes in off the ropes and lets the ball bounce in front of him rather than going for the catch. Islam just turns around and walks back to his mark but the reaction in the Bangladesh dugout suggests that they wanted Fizz to go for the catch. The batters cross for one.
